This Privacy Policy of the “Checker Mobile Application” (hereinafter Checker App), used to check electronic documents through different verification models like (currently available is QR scanning) states the order of collection, use, processing, sharing and disclosure of the data verified through the digital platform comprising of the website internet information resource “www.mygov.az” and “mygov” mobile application (hereinafter collectively referred as “mygov” or “Portal”), managed by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (hereinafter - the Agency) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan (hereinafter - the Ministry).

WHEN YOU SHARE DATA THROUGH QR CODES GENERATED OR PROVIDED THROUGH “CHECKER APP”, YOU AS THE USER ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTROLLING ACCESS TO THAT DATA. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT ANY DATA SHARED IN THIS MANNER MAY BE ACCESSIBLE TO THIRD PARTIES WHO SCAN OR ACCESS THE QR CODE. THE PROTECTION OF THE PRIVACY OF THE DATA SHARED THROUGH QR CODES WITH THIRD PARTIES IS SOLELY USER RESPONSIBILITY AND LIABILITY.
“CHECKER APP” STRONGLY ADVISES YOU TO CONSIDER THE NATURE OF THE DATA SHARED AND THE PARTIES WITH WHOM YOU ARE SHARING IT, AND TO EXERCISE CAUTION AND DISCRETION WHEN USING QR CODES TO SHARE DATA. AGENCY SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY PRIVACY BREACHES, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, OR ANY OTHER ISSUES THAT MAY ARISE FROM YOUR DECISION TO SHARE DATA THROUGH QR CODES WITH THIRD PARTIES.
IT IS USER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO UNDERSTAND THE NATURE OF THE DATA BEING SHARED, THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH SHARING SUCH DATA, AND TO MANAGE THE DISTRIBUTION OF QR CODES IN A MANNER THAT PROTECTS YOUR PRIVACY AND COMPLIES WITH APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS.
We collect the following personal information when you use the Checker App and information collected in connection with your use of Checker App will be collected only in accordance with this Privacy Policy and other grounds established by law.

3.1.2. in the case of information required to be disclosed as a result of a court decision in accordance with the requirements of the legislation, to third parties based on a legally binding decision of the court or in another manner determined by law;
3.1.3. for the purposes of ensuring investigative activity by state institutions (especially law enforcement agencies) and courts, judicial investigation, investigation of criminal cases, protection of public order and national security;
Your data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
