Privacy Policy

MyGov is run by “E-gov Development Center” public legal entity under the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on behalf of the Azerbaijan Republic (hereinafter – “Center”). This privacy notice sets out how Center collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information in relation to MyGov, other public or private entities (hereinafter – “Member Services”) services via MyGov and other information systems and resources integrated to MyGov. Separate privacy notices apply to the Member Services that you may link to your MyGov account.
By using MyGov, you agree that Center may collect, use and disclose your personal information as set out in this privacy policy.
By linking your MyGov account to a Member Service, you agree that the Member Service may collect from MyGov, use and disclose to MyGov your personal information as set out in this privacy policy, to the extent those actions related to MyGov. Member Services may have their own privacy notice that is applicable to the handling of your personal information on their records.

Center collects personal information about you for the purpose of operating the myGov service. This includes information you provide, information created by myGov in relation to your use, and information received from linked Member Services about you.
Personal information you provide includes:
• your email address
• your mobile phone number
• your password
• your PIN of identity card
• your secret questions and answers
• your preferred method of receiving MyGov message notifications
Information created by MyGov about you includes:
• your MyGov username
• records of activity in relation to your myGov account, such as account sign-in attempts, your device (including device name, model, operating system and IP Address),
Pages and messages you entered related to services.

Depending on the User's specific device, MyGov may request certain permissions that allow it to access the User's device Data as described below.
By default, these permissions must be granted by the User before the respective information can be accessed. Once the permission has been given, it can be revoked by the User at any time. In order to revoke these permissions,
The exact procedure for controlling app permissions may be dependent on the User's device and software.
Please note that the revoking of such permissions might impact the proper functioning of this Application.
If User grants any of the permissions listed below, the respective Personal Data may be processed (i.e. accessed to, modified or removed) by this Application.
Camera permission
Used for accessing the camera or capturing images and video from the device.
Storage permission
Documents created by MyGov are stored for a period determined by the Center.

Center collects, uses and discloses personal information to provide you with myGov messages, and to allow you to update your details with Member Services.

Center collects, uses and discloses your personal information for the purpose of operating the MyGov service. This includes collecting, using and disclosing your information to:
• allow you to create and sign in to your MyGov account
• administer, maintain and provide you support in relation to your MyGov account
• allow you to link your MyGov account to Member Services' online account

Center collects, uses and discloses your personal information to provide you with MyGov messages. This includes collecting, using and disclosing your information to:
• allow you to receive online messages from Member Services
• advise you by email or text message to your preferred email address or mobile number when you receive a new message from a Member Service

Center may also collect, use and disclose your personal information, where:
• you have consented to the collection, use or disclosure for that purpose, or
• Services Australia is required or authorised by law to collect, use or disclose your information for that purpose (including for the purpose of conducting investigations into suspected unlawful activity).
Center disclose personal information collected for MyGov to overseas recipients only regarding to the Law of Azerbaijan Republic.

Center uses session based cookies. Session based cookies are temporary cookie files transferred to your computer and erased when you close your browser. These cookies are used by MyGov to allow you to perform functions within MyGov once you have signed in, and to gather anonymous website usage data to help improve myGov.
Center does not use persistent cookies. These are cookies that remain on your hard drive until you erase them or they expire.
Some functionality on the MyGov website may be affected if you reject cookies.
Center does not use cookies to identify your browsing activities outside of MyGov services.

Your MyGov account is formed on the basis of information in state information systems and resources through the "E-Government Information System". With the exception of information entered by you, changes to other information may only be made by the Member Services. In case of deficiencies or changes in the data, you can also contact the owner of the relevant information system and resources through MyGov.

Center's activity is based on the current legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and recognizes the rule of law in ensuring the operation of MyGov.
